KOBE Student Services provide safe and supportive residential and boarding homes for students who travel from their home communities to attend high school. These homes offer a welcoming environment where students can feel comfortable and cared for while pursuing their education.

With residences in Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, and Dryden KOBE student homes are designed to foster a sense of belonging, with dedicated staff ensuring students have access to nutritious meals, academic support, cultural connections, and a stable living space. We are committed to creating a home away from home, where students can thrive both academically and personally while maintaining strong ties to their culture and community.

Boarding Homes
Private boarding homes also provide support to students attending high school away from their community. Boarding homes are required to go through a lengthy screening process while providing vulnerable sector police checks. Boarding homes provide the same support as our home workers while also allowing students to have more independence. This is generally an option given to our senior students who are preparing for life after high school.
